Note: For each individual swimming event, the women's event will be swum first, followed by the men's event. Championship relays will be swum prior to B relays.
* The 800 free relay will begin 45 minutes after the conclusion of the 200 medily relay
** The start times for all but the final heat of the 1650 will be set to finish heats by 5:00 PM
About the Championship
For the third consecutive season and 10th time overall, the University of Texas will host the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championship. The event will be held at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin and will take place February 25-28.
The field will consist of five women's programs and three men's programs. Iowa State Kansas, TCU, Texas and West Virginia will compete on the women's side, while TCU, Texas and West Virginia will compete for the men's side.
Texas swept the 2015 championship, taking home both the men's and women's titles. The Longhorn men's squad has won the Big 12 championship every year since the conference was formed in 1996, giving UT 19 straight titles. On the women's side Texas has collected a league-best 13 Big 12 titles.
