2019-20 Big 12 Athlete of the Year candidates will be highlighted each weekday through May 22.
Fans will be able to vote for their male and female choices from May 22 until May 26 on Big12Sports.com. Fan voting will be considered in the final tally for selecting this prestigious award.
Today’s featured candidates are West Virginia’s Rylee Foster and Noah Adams.
WVU Female Athlete of the Year Candidate
Rylee Foster, Soccer

Accomplishments
^ Selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region Second Team.
^ Tabbed All-Big 12 Second Team as a goalkeeper.
^ Recorded seven shutouts in 2019, which tied for second in the Big 12.
^ Ranked third in the Big 12 with 87 saves in 2019.
^ Finished second in program history with 39 shutouts and 7,670:10 goalkeeper minutes played in her career.
WVU Male Athlete of the Year Candidate
Noah Adams; Wrestling
R-So.; Coal City, W.Va.
Accomplishments
^ NWCA First Team All-American.
^ Won the Big 12 Championship 197 pounds title and was tabbed the Big 12 Wrestler of the Year.
^ Earned FloWrestling Breakout Performance of the Year.
^ Named West Virginia’s top amateur athlete by winning the Hardman Award from the West Virginia Sportswriters Association.
^ Became the first WVU wrestler to finish the season with an undefeated season since Greg Jones in 2006.
