Texas Picked to Win Big 12 Men’s Tennis Title

Texas was selected as the preseason favorite to win the Big 12 men’s tennis title by league coaches in the 2024 Big 12 Men’s Tennis Preseason Poll with seven first-place votes (49 points). TCU followed closely with 43 points and one first-place vote while Oklahoma State rounded out the top three with 33 points. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.

TCU finished the regular season as the runner-up in the regular season before claiming their first Big 12 Men’s Tennis Championship title since 2017 en route to a semifinals appearance in the 2023 NCAA Championships.

Oklahoma State tied its program-best by being selected third in the preseason poll after advancing to the third round in the 2023 NCAA Championships. The Cowboys had previously been selected third in the poll in 2016, 2017 and 2021.
