ORLANDO, Fla. - No. 3 Baylor and No. 4 UCF advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 Big 12 Men’s Tennis Tournament presented by Allstate with wins on Thursday afternoon at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. The Bears will face the No. 2-seeded TCU at 2 p.m. ET while the Knights take on defending champion No. 1 seed Arizona.
No. 3 Baylor 4, No. 6 Utah 1
Baylor clinched the doubles point on courts two and three. Devin Badenhorst and Calvin Baierl posted a 7-4 win, while Luc Koenig and Connor Van Schalkwyk sealed the doubles point with a 6-4 victory on court three.
In singles, Balthazar Huss evened the score for Utah with a 6-1, 6-2 win from court five. No. 44-ranked Zsombor Velcz put Baylor in the lead with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 victory. No. 8-ranked Badenhorst earned his second point of the match with a 7-6 (10-8), 6-4 victory. Koeing sealed the match, posting a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win, sending Baylor to the semifinals.
No. 4 UCF 4, No. 5 Arizona State 0
UCF took the doubles points from courts two and three. Wissam Abderrahman and Clement Lemire claimed a 6-1 win, followed by Luca Hotze and Nicolas Oliveira clinching the point with a 7-5 victory.
In singles, Oliveira earned his second point in straight sets with a 6-1, 6-2 victory. No. 78-ranked Yassine Dlimi led 6-3, 3-3 before Ofek Shimanov retired, giving UCF its third point of the match. Pedro Rodrigues delivered the final point in a 6-4, 6-4 performance, propelling UCF to the semifinals.
