Arizona and TCU to Play in the Big 12 Men’s Tennis Tournament Finals

ORLANDO, Fla – Top-seeded Arizona and No. 2 TCU punched their tickets to the finals of the 2026 Men’s Big 12 Tennis Tournament presented by Allstate with semifinal wins Friday at the USTA National Campus. The Wildcats earned their spot, edging out No. 4 seed UCF, 4-3, in a battle coming down to the last singles court. The Horned Frogs shut down the  No. 3 Bears in a clean 4-0 sweep to advance to the finals.

Arizona secured the doubles point with wins on courts two and three. Jay Friend and Alexander Rozin opened with a 6-3 victory, and No. 47 Cole Stelse and Ajejandro Arcila clinched the point with a 6-4 victory.

Friend quickly earned his second point in straight sets with a 6-3, 6-1 win, putting the Wildcats up 2-0. Wissam Abderrahman (6-4, 7-5) and Paul Colin (6-3, 7-5) claimed their points, tying the match at 2-2. Glib Sekachov put Arizona ahead with a 6-7 (2-7), 6-1, 6-2 win. Clement Lemire evened the score for the Knights, with a score of 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. No. 93 Rozin (7-6 (9-7), 4-6, 6-4) took the final point from court three, to send the Wildcats to the finals.

The Horned Frogs claimed the doubles point from courts two and three. Albert Pedrico and Cooper Woestendick pulled out a 6-4 win, while Maximus Dussault and Oliver Bonding sealed the point with a 6-3 win.

No. 38-ranked Cosme Rolland De Ravel extended TCU’s lead with a 6-1, 7-5 win. Bonding earned his second point posting a pair of 6-4 sets, while Roger Pascual punched the Horned Frogs' ticket to the finals with a 6-3, 6-3 victory.
