ORLANDO, Fla. – No. 2 seed TCU dethroned reigning champion top-seeded Arizona with a 4-0 sweep to claim the 2026 Big 12 Men’s Tennis Tournament title, its fourth in program history Saturday afternoon at the USTA National Campus.
Oliver Bonding was named Most Outstanding Player after putting together an undefeated 4-0 tournament record against Arizona and Baylor. The freshman earned two ranked wins, one in singles and one in doubles.

The Horned Frogs started early, claiming the doubles point from courts two and three. Albert Pedrico and Cooper Woestendick struck first with a shutout 6-0 win over Arizona’s Jay Friend and Alexander Rozin. Maximus Dussault and Bonding clinched the doubles point with a 7-5 win against No. 47-ranked Cole Stelse and Alejandro Arcila.
Bonding quickly earned his second point of the match, pushing the Horned Frogs’ lead to 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-3 victory. From the top court, Duncan Chan earned his point in a straight set victory of 6-4, 6-3 against Friend. Roger Pascual hammered home the final point on court six for TCU, claiming a 6-2, 6-4 victory.
The Horned Frogs and the Wildcats will wait to see who they play in the opening round of the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championship until the selection show on Monday, April 27, at 5 p.m. ET on NCAA.com.
