Fresno State, OSU and TCU Earn October Big 12 Equestrian Awards

Fresno State’s Sage Lindvall (flat), Oklahoma State’s Bella Holway (fences) and June Roberson (horsemanship), and TCU’s Cassie Hacking (reining) were named the Big 12 Equestrian October Riders of the Month.

Holway started the season with a 2-0 record in fences, picking up a career high score of 87 in the Cowgirls' win over then-No. 4 SMU. The junior picked up the lone point against the then-No. 7 TCU in their season opener with a decisive 77-62.5 score. This is the sports management major’s first time earning Conference accolades.

Lindvall opened her junior season by scoring a season-high 85 and achieving a 16-point margin of victory against then-No. 10 South Dakota State. She went 2-1 through the month of October. This is the junior’s first Conference award.

Picking up where she left off last season, Roberson went 2-0 in horsemanship to open the season, extending her win streak to six. Roberson posted a season-high of 78 points over SMU, earning her 29th career win and a narrow 76.50-76.25 victory over TCU. This is the marketing major’s second time earning Big 12 honors.

Hacking opened her collegiate slate, going 2-2-1 in reigning through October. Her first win came against then-No. 8 Baylor with a narrow 73.75-73.5 victory. She picked up her second win against No. 3 Auburn, posting a score of 73. She earned MOP honors in both victories. This is her first time earning a Big 12 Rider of the Month.
