IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State redshirt junior Troy Spratley became the fourth Cowboy to be named Big 12 Wrestler of the Week after picking up a top-10 win versus West Virginia. Spratley defeated No. 7 Jett Strickenberger in a rematch of last year’s Big 12 championship match at 125 pounds.
 

He opened the 6-2 victory by taking down Strickenberger before a reversal in the second period. The win avenged two losses to the Mountaineers’ 125-pound champion last season and helped propel OSU to 34-3 victory over WVU.
 

With a 3-0 record in Big 12 matches and an overall mark of 7-1, No. 5 Oklahoma State returns to action on Sunday, Dec. 21 to face No. 6 Nebraska in Lincoln at 1 p.m. CT.
