The 2025 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championship is slated this week for Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 1 at the Sports Performance Complex on the campus of Texas Tech University.
Heading into Friday’s action, the Big 12 hosts four teams each in the men’s and women’s national rankings. The February 25 update of the USTFCCCA National TFRI has Texas Tech at No. 4 followed by Oklahoma State at No. 14, Cincinnati at No. 21 and Baylor at No. 25 on the men’s side. The women’s list features No. 2 BYU and No. 4 Texas Tech with No. 15 Baylor and No. 23 TCU rounding out the Conference in the rating index.
The Red Raider men look to defend their title for the third consecutive year against 12 other Conference opponents while all 16 women’s teams will battle on the track to claim the women’s Championship title. UCF, Utah and West Virginia only sponsor women’s track and field.
Friday’s action is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CT with the men’s heptathlon. All coverage of the Championship will be broadcast on ESPN+ starting at 10 a.m. CT on both days. James Westling and John Nownes will be on-air talent for the evening sessions.
