IRVING, Texas – Arizona State’s Ava Kirunchyk and Samaya Morin were named Big 12 Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week following their undefeated performance on the No. 1 court at the Sun Devil Classic in Tempe. The honor marks ASU’s second weekly honor in three weeks this season.

Kiruncyhk and Morin posted a perfect 4-0 record over the weekend, which included a win over No. 19 Arizona’s tandem of Carlie Cisneros and Regan Holmer. By improving its record to 10-0 as a No. 1 pair, the Sun Devil duo has the second-longest winning streak in team history. Arizona State is a perfect 10-0 to begin 2026, which is the program’s best ever start to a season.

The Sun Devils will return to action this weekend at the East Meets West Invitational, which features a loaded field of teams battling in Manhattan Beach, California.
