IRVING, Texas – The Florida State tandem of Alexis Durish and Audrey Koenig were named Big 12 Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week for the third time this season after an undefeated weekend on the No. 1 court at the Seminoles’ home event, the FSU Challenge. Durish and Koenig posted a perfect 4-0 record, which included a pair of wins versus then-No. 8 ranked Loyola Marymount.

The duo won its first three matches in straight sets without letting an opponent eclipse 16 points in a set. They also became the first pair in the Conference’s two-year history of beach volleyball to earn weekly honors three times in a season.

Durish and Koenig are a perfect 24-0 as a pair this season, including 14 ranked wins on court one. The pair also won the Beach Pro Tour Challenge event in India, becoming the first Seminoles ever to earn gold.
