IRVING, Texas – Boise State’s Avery Allen and Keira Demirjian were named Big 12 Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week following a perfect 4-0 weekend, which included wins against three ranked programs. The Broncos’ duo dispatched all four of their opponents in straight sets on court three at LSU’s Death Volley Invitational in Baton Rouge.

Allen and Demirjian opened the weekend with wins versus then-No. 9 California and Georgia State, who received votes in last week’s national poll. They went on to earn victories against then-No. 6 Florida State and then-No. 12 LSU.

The award is Boise State’s first in its inaugural season as a Big 12 Beach Volleyball affiliate member. The Broncos will return to the sand in this weekend’s Big 12 Preview, hosted by TCU, which features all six of the Conference’s beach volleyball programs.
