IRVING, Texas – For the second time in three weeks, Florida State’s Alexis Durish and Audrey Koenig have been named Big 12 Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week. The duo picked up a trio of wins against top-15 programs on the No. 1 court at the Florida Atlantic Beach Invitational.

Durish and Koenig opened their weekend with a win versus No. 13 FAU before dispatching the duo of Ashley Pater and Kennedy Coakley from third-ranked USC in dominating fashion 21-14, 21-16. After making quick work of Tampa’s top pair on Sunday, the Seminole duo defeated No. 6 TCU’s Anhelina Khmil and Natalie Glenn to cap a perfect 4-0 weekend. They also have not dropped a single set since being paired on February 27th and have faced six AVCA top 25 teams.

Florida State returns to action this weekend, participating in the LSU East vs. West event in Baton Rouge. The national field will see the Seminoles face a trio of nationally-ranked teams; Arizona State, California and Grand Canyon.
