Baylor’s Lauren Reid (flat), Fresno State’s Abby Goddard (horsemanship) and Shelby Robinette (scholar-athlete), Oklahoma State’s Emma Filiatreau (reining) and Larry Sanchez (coach) plus TCU’s Lily Muzzy (fences) all claimed Big 12 equestrian honors.

Reid was named the Flat Rider of the Year after posting a 5-1 conference record with an overall record of 8-3 for the 2025-26 season. She currently holds Baylor’s program record in the flat discipline with an average score of 84 points and is tied for the most MOP honors in an individual season with four.

For the Bulldogs, Goddard was named the Horsemanship Rider of the Year, leading Fresno State with an 8-1-2 record in the discipline. The senior had the most wins and MOP honors for the Bulldogs, averaging 73.45 points per ride.

Filiatreau was tabbed as the Reining Rider of the Year. The junior recorded a 7-1-1 season while collecting five MOP honors during the season. Filiatreau earned an average score of 71.47, edging her opponents out by an average of three per ride.

Ending her debut season with a 9-3 record, Muzzy was named the Fences Rider of the Year. In her first season with the Horned Frogs, she earned four MOP honors while averaging a mark of 80.29 points.
Robinette was named the Big 12 Equestrian Scholar Athlete of the Year for the second year in a row. The senior is earning her master’s in sports administration. She competed in all 11 meets for the Bulldogs while boasting a 3.95 GPA.

OSU’s Sanchez was named the Big 12 Equestrian Coach of the Year after leading the Cowgirls to a 4-2 Conference record. Under his guidance, two Cowgirls earned national rider of the month honors from the NCEA. This is Sanchez’s sixth time earning coach of the Conference accolade.
