The Big 12 Tennis Championships will be held at the Headington Family Tennis Center in Norman, Okla. for the second time in conference history. Oklahoma last hosted the event in 2004.
The Headington Tennis Center has 12 championship courts including new additions of an electronic scoreboard, sound system and benches for all 12 courts. The center also includes a 55,000 square-foot indoor facility that houses six air-conditioned courts.
Baylor (2002-05, '07, '08), Texas (1997, 1999, 2006) and Texas A&M (1998, 2000-01) have combined to win all 12 of the previous Big 12 men's postseason championship. The women's championship features the following winners - Baylor (2006-08), Texas (1997-2002, '05), Oklahoma State (2003), and Texas A&M (2004).
