Big 12 Tennis All-Tournament Teams Announced

The 2021 Big 12 Tennis Championship All-Tournament team, as selected by the league’s head coaches, has been announced. Baylor headlined the men’s team with five selections, while Texas paced the women’s ledger with four.
 
The Most Outstanding Performers at the championship were recognized to the team, as Baylor’s Adrian Boitan earned the No. 1 singles spot and Texas’ Kylie Collins collected the No. 5 singles position as both went undefeated on the weekend.
 
Oklahoma’s Carmen Corley took the top spot on the women’s side, while Alicia Herrero Linana from Baylor earned the No. 2 singles position. In addition to Collins’ selection at No. 5, the Longhorns had representation from Lulu Sun at No. 3, Charlotte Chavatipon at No. 4 and Malaika Rapolu at No. 6.
 
In doubles, OU’s Ivana Corley joined her sister Carmen as the No. 1 doubles selection. Another Sooner tandem in Martina Capurro and Camila Romero were selected at No. 2. Baylor duo Audrey Boch-Collins and Herrero Linana were slotted at the No 3 position.
 
Baylor picked up five spots on the men’s All-Tournament team. In addition to Boitan’s selection at No. 1, Sven Lah (No. 4), Charlie Broom (No. 5) and Spencer Furman (No. 6) earned singles spots. The No. 3 doubles tandem of Finn Bass and Broom were selected at No. 3.
 
Oklahoma State had a pair of men’s doubles teams selections, as its top-two tandems of Emile Hudd/Matej Vocel (No. 1) and Dominik Kellovsky/Henrick Korsgaard (No. 2) garnered recognition. Other individual’s on the singles team included TCU’s Luc Fomba at No. 2 and Texas’ Siem Woldeab at No. 3.
 
Baylor won the men’s title with a 4-0 decision over Texas on Monday, while the Longhorns were victors on the women’s side with a 4-0 victory over the Bears. The NCAA Tennis Championship selection show is slated for Monday, May 3, with the women’s show starting at 5 p.m. CT and the men’s at 5:30 p.m. CT.
