TCU’s Anhelina Khmil and Ana Vergara were named the Big 12 Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week.

The duo added three wins at the No. 3 and No. 4 spots this week against No. 2 UCLA, No. 3 Cal Poly and No. 4 LMU to improve to 13-0 on the season. The pairing won in straight sets against UCLA and LMU before dropping the first set in a come-from-behind, three-set win against Cal Poly.  They have 31 total wins as a pair and are the only reoccurring duo left for the Horned Frogs that is undefeated this season. The junior and freshman accounted for two of TCU’s four total points against LMU and UCLA while they added a third point in the team win over Cal Poly.

The Horned Frogs are 21-5 on the season and will host Houston Christian, Missouri State, Grand Canyon and ULM at the Fight in the Fort tournament starting Friday, April 18 before hosting the inaugural Big 12 Beach Volleyball Championship on Thursday, April 24.
