Florida State and TCU to Represent the Big 12 at the National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship

IRVING, Texas – In just its second season sponsoring beach volleyball, the Big 12 Conference had Florida State and TCU qualify for the 16-team field at the National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship. The Seminoles, who won the 2026 Big 12 Beach Volleyball Championship presented by Allstate on Saturday, are the No. 5 overall seed in the event. TCU was placed as a No. 10 seed and will look to defend their national title from a year ago.

Hosted in Gulf Shores, Alabama, the National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship begins on Friday, May 1 on ESPN2. Fifth seed Florida State will face No. 12 Stetson at 10 a.m. CT before No. 10 TCU opens with No. 7 LMU at 2 p.m. CT, which is a rematch of the 2025 national championship match.

The second round and semifinals are played on Saturday, May 2 on ESPN2, with the championship match scheduled for 11:30 a.m. CT on Sunday, May 3 on ESPN.
