Big 12 Conference Announces Beach Volleyball Postseason Awards

IRVING, Texas – Following the Big 12’s second season sponsoring beach volleyball, Arizona State, Florida State and TCU earned the league’s postseason awards. The Seminoles took home a majority of the honors, with Brooke Niles being named Coach of the Year alongside Alexis Durish and Audrey Koenig, who were honored as Pair of the Year. Durish and Koenig were two of the Seminoles’ five honorees on the All-Big 12 Team.

Niles guided Florida State to victory at the Big 12 Beach Volleyball Championship presented by Allstate last week as the Seminoles won the league crown in their first year as affiliate members. FSU was selected to compete in the National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship as the No. 5 overall seed, beginning on Friday, May 1.

The Seminoles’ top pair of Durish and Koenig were dominant all season, compiling an overall record of 29-0, which included a 19-0 mark versus ranked teams. The two were honored as the Big 12 Pair of the Week on three separate occasions this season. Durish and Koenig were also named the Most Outstanding Pair of the Big 12 Championship as they helped propel FSU to a team title.

Mol, a freshman from Bergen, Norway, played an integral part in the Horned Frogs’ success in 2026. She has earned a 16-5 record, which included an 11-5 mark against ranked opponents. Mol was a part of two clinching points, including against No. 13 Grand Canyon on the road in the second match of the season. She also has earned 11 sweep victories, including six against ranked opponents.

Williams posted a record of 11-4 as part of the TCU lineup this season, which was highlighted by a 9-4 mark against nationally-ranked opponents. She also scored a clinching point for the Horned Frogs during their semifinal match against Boise State. Williams is a junior, majoring in Finance, with a 3.946 cumulative GPA. She and her TCU teammates helped propel the program to a No. 10 overall seed at the National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship. where they will look to repeat as team champions.
