Texas won its third-consecutive Big 12 tennis regular-season title and 11th overall with a 7-0 shutout of TCU on Sunday. The No. 2 nationally-ranked Longhorns (22-1, 9-0) will enter the 2021 Big 12 Championship as the No. 1-seed. This year’s Championship will be contested at Baylor University’s Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas from April 22 to April 25.
Other seeds on the women’s side are as follows: No. 2 Baylor, No. 3 Texas Tech, No. 4 Oklahoma, No. 5 Oklahoma State, No. 6 Iowa State, No. 7 TCU, No. 8 K-State and No. 9 Kansas.
The Women’s Championship starts Wednesday morning, as No. 8-seed K-State faces No. 9-seed Kansas at 10 a.m. CT.
Thursday’s quarterfinals open at Noon with No. 2 Baylor against No. 7 TCU and No. 3 Texas Tech competing against No. 6 Iowa State. The 3:00 p.m. matchups feature No. 1 Texas vs. the K-State/KU winner and No. 4 Oklahoma against No. 5 Oklahoma State.
