Arizona, UCF, TCU and Texas Tech Head to the Semifinals of the 2026 Big 12 Women’s Tennis Tournament

ORLANDO, Fla. – No. 4 Arizona, No. 1 UCF, No. 3 TCU and No. 10 Texas Tech advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 Big 12 Women’s Tennis Tournament presented by Allstate with wins on Thursday afternoon at USTA National Campus. The Knights will take on the Wildcats while the Horned Frogs face the Lady Raiders on Friday night at 6 p.m. ET.
 
No. 3 TCU 4, No. 6 Baylor 1
TCU took the doubles point on courts two and three. Cayetana Gay and Tomi Main earned the first win with a 6-2 victory. Raquel Caballero Chica and Jennifer Jackson sealed the doubles point, posting a 6-4 win.
 
In singles, Jackson extended the Horned Frogs’ lead with a straight set 6-1, 6-0 win. No. 89-ranked Zuzanna Kubacha put Baylor on the board with a 6-0, 6-3 victory. Cristina Ramos Sierra (6-4, 7-5) and Victoria Gomez O’Hayon (1-6, 6-4, 6-3) secured the final two points of the match.
 
No. 10 Texas Tech 4, No. 2 Arizona State 3
Texas Tech was on the board first, taking the doubles point. Elena Daskalova and Mariia Hlahola grabbed the win with a 6-4 result. Ella Brownback and Polina Sleptsova clinched the point with a score of 7-5.
 
In singles, the Sun Devils battled back with Lily Taylor (6-1, 6-2) to claim the first singles point to even the match. Aiya Nupbay put Arizona State in the lead, posting a 6-2, 6-3 win. Yekaterina Dmitrichenko tied the match with a 6-4, 6-4 performance. Sarang Lim pushed ASU ahead, claiming a 6-4, 6-2 win from court six. Hailey Murphy (2-6, 7-5, 6-2)  and Havana Kadi (5-7, 6-4, 6-1) closed the door on Arizona State to send the Lady Raiders into the semifinals.
 
No. 4 Arizona 4, No. 5 Kansas 2
Arizona struck first, claiming the doubles point from courts two and three. Tanvi Narendran and Martyna Ostrzygalo recorded a 6-0 shutout, while Maria Garcia and Josie Usereau took the final point with a score of 6-3.
 
Kansas’ Kyoka Kubo (6-3, 6-0) grabbed the first singles point. Narendran earned her second point posting a score of 6-1, 6-1. Nahyeong Cho tied the match for Kansas, earning a 6-4, 6-2 victory. Usereau (6-4, 7-6 (7-3)) and Ciara Moore (7-6 (10-8), 6-3) grabbed the final two points of the match.
 
No. 1 UCF 4, No. 9 BYU 2
UCF grabbed the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. Olivia Bergler and Lauren Seye took the win with a score of 6-3. Jantje Tilbuerger and Marina Gatell clinched the point, posting a score of 6-3.
 
In singles, Bergler (6-2, 6-3) earned the first point, extending UCF’s lead. YuYun Chen (6-4, 6-3) and Sage Bergeson (7-5, 6-4) tied the match for the Cougs on courts four and five, respectively. Seye claimed her point, winning 6-4, 7-6 (7-1). Gatell delivered the final point with a score of 5-7, 6-3, 6-4, lifting UCF to the semifinals.
