The seedings for the inaugural 2025 Big 12 Beach Volleyball Championship were announced Monday, as voted by the league’s coaches. The Championship will be played in a double-elimination format.
TCU received the top seed after finishing the regular season with a 25-5 record. The Horned Frogs will host the Championship at the TCU Beach Volleyball Courts with a 61-match home winning streak on the line against No. 4 seed Utah on Thursday, April 24
th at 9 a.m. CT. The Utes finished the year with a program record of 20 wins (20-12), surpassing the program’s previous best of 19 that was set in 2024.
Arizona State earned the No. 2 seed with a 20-12 record after securing the best home record in team history (9-1). The 12
th-ranked Sun Devils finished with 20 wins for the second consecutive season and the third time in program history. Arizona State will take on No. 3 seed Arizona on Thursday at 11:15 a.m. CT. The Wildcats wrapped up the season with an 18-10 record and winning three of their last four matches.
The Championship will conclude with the final on Friday, April 25 at 1 p.m. CT. All matches will be available on ESPN+.
